Parkside at Verdae is a 4.5 acre apartment complex in Greenville, SC with 56 dwelling units as well as recreation facilities. The property is located on Woodruff Rd., a popular city thoroughfare. Site Design, Inc. coordinated the civil engineering and landscape work to create a layout that provided privacy for the residents while respecting the natural features of the site.

Despite being a low income project, substantial emphasis was put on the landscaping of the site. The proximity to Woodruff Rd., a rapidly growing part of Greenville, required the project to provide a higher degree of curb appeal than a typical development of this type. Landscape architects provided full planting plans and specifications that were in compliance with the City of Greenville’s zoning ordinance.
