Eric Bergerud
Information System Manager Eric's primary responsibity is to ensure the continuous operation of the company’s computer network system. He also researches and implements new technology, develops business processes and procedures, and provides computer training and support for all company employees. He has written business software that allows Site Design to manage projects, which allows us to coordinate our team efforts to better serve our clients. His 12 years of computer experience began as a hobby, while serving in the US Navy. After working as a nuclear mechanic on board submarines, he took a job as an artificial kidney machine technician. It was here his hobby became his profession when he was asked to help implement a computerized medical treatment and billing system. He has since provided multiple companies a wide variety of computer support services, such as software development, network support, CAD, GIS, web design, and process analysis and improvement. He has traveled throughout the US, helping numerous manufacturing facilities implement computerized maintenance software, including Georgia-Pacific, NTN Bearings, BF Goodrich Aerospace, Corning, and Bausch & Lomb.
