Mark Binsz, P.E. Vice President of Engineering
Mark Binsz brings to Site Design, Inc. more than 25 years of civil engineering design, geotechnical engineering and construction material testing experience. His expertise extends to specialty practice areas including land planning, storm water management, roadway design and sanitary sewer design.
As part of his responsibilities, Mark oversees the operations, quality control and compliance functions of the civil engineering group. He is a registered professional engineer in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia, and works hands on with each client to ensure projects proceed efficiently through the site development process.
Prior to joining Site Design, Mark was a geotechnical engineer for Atlanta Testing & Engineering from 1991 to 1997. Earlier, he was an estimator in Cajun Constructors Inc.’s Atlanta office, specializing in the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Mark is married to Laurie, and together they have two children. He enjoys hiking, biking and backpacking. He’s a frequent traveler of the nearly 20-mile GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail, linking the city of Greenville to the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. One of his favorite places to hike is in the Shining Rock Wilderness Area, in the Pisgah National Forest, outside Brevard, North Carolina.
Mark received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Clemson University.
