Jessica Chapman, P.E. Senior Civil Engineer
As a senior civil engineer with more than 15 years of experience, Jessica Chapman is responsible for all aspects of site planning and design work. Her expertise include sanitary sewer rehabilitation and collection, stormwater drainage, potable water distribution and soil erosion and sediment control design for infill projects less than an acre in size to master planned communities as large as 735 acres. She is a registered professional engineer in South Carolina and Florida, and a certified floodplain manager.
Prior to joining Site Design, Jessica worked for the City of Greenville for almost nine years as a senior civil engineer and the assistant city engineer over the Environmental Engineering Division. This experience gives Jessica the ability to better understand the regulations which government entities are implementing and the ability to smoothly navigate the permitting process. Earlier, she was a project engineer for Wilson Miller in Naples, Florida, with a focus on master planned communities, downtown infill and not-for-profit projects.
Jessica is married to Michael, together they have two children. Michael and Jessica also host a foreign exchange student from China. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys cooking, hiking and building sets for her daughter’s plays. Jessica is actively involved at her church and likes to use her skills as an engineer to help others.
Jessica earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Central Florida.
