Austin Fowler, P.E. Civil Engineer
Austin joined the Site Design team in 2017 and is a professional engineer. Since his arrival, he has worked on a variety of projects both residential and commercial. He enjoys the unique challenge that each site brings and working as a team to solve problems that may arise during design. He also likes the diverse design aspects that each job brings, whether it be storm drainage design, detention pond design, sanitary sewer design, grading, or building/site layouts.
Austin also performs CEPSCI inspections on many of the projects that Site Design has designed. As a licensed CEPSCI inspector, he does weekly inspections on each job to ensure that they are compliant with the approved erosion control plans.
Austin graduated from Clemson University in 2010 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Upon graduation, Austin worked as a project designer for Corning, Inc in Charlotte, NC managing the construction of complex fiber optic cable producing machines.
When he’s not in the office, Austin can be found spending time with his wife, Ellen, daughter Luna, and son Wilder, or training for his next marathon or triathlon. Austin has ran six full marathons including the Boston Marathon twice and completed one full Ironman race.
